This has been my daily commuter for about three years now I bought it with 60,000 miles on it and have performed the regular services needed to keep it running smooth no major repairs check engine lights or other issues.
It does really well with gas mileage considering it is a 2 L turbo. My average is around 34 to 38 miles per gallon. The hybrid system is amazing.
It does have a pretty beat up windshield and the price of which has been reflected in my asking price hate to see this go, but we have too many vehicles and I recently took a position that has a take-home vehicle. I need to sell this one. The mileage might change slightly as I still drive it on the weekends occasionally.
Please text me with any questions serious buyers only. I do have a loan on this so that will need to be factored into the sales process. The loan is through America first credit union.
Power, Speed, and Fun-to-Drive Character
• Strong combined performance: The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder pairs with an electric motor for a total of around 248 horsepower and a robust 310 lb-ft of torque. This delivers quick acceleration—0-60 mph in roughly 5.9–6.1 seconds—and effortless passing power thanks to instant electric torque.
• Responsive and engaging: It feels punchy in everyday driving, with smooth power delivery from the eight-speed automatic. Sport modes amplify the fun, and the rear-wheel-drive layout (standard on most) provides sharp, precise handling that makes it genuinely enjoyable on twisty roads or highways. Reviewers often note it’s more fun to drive than most hybrids while retaining classic BMW balance and steering feel.
• Versatile modes: Max eDrive for quiet electric running (up to ~75 mph), blended Auto eDrive for efficiency, and Sport for maximum performance. The electric boost makes it lively without feeling heavy despite the added battery weight.
This setup turns commutes into something you look forward to, whether zipping through traffic or enjoying a longer drive.
Comfort and Daily Commute Excellence
• Refined ride and interior: The 330e offers a comfortable, supportive cabin with high-quality materials, excellent seats, and a quiet ride—especially in electric mode for silent, vibration-free low-speed travel. It’s well-suited for highway cruising and urban errands alike.
• Hybrid efficiency for commuting: Expect around 14–20 miles of electric-only range (ideal for many daily commutes), with overall fuel economy in the low-to-mid 30s mpg combined (or much higher with regular charging). This reduces fuel stops and costs significantly compared to pure gas 3 Series models. Charging is straightforward (about 2 hours for a full top-up on a suitable charger).
• Practical luxury: Good space for passengers and cargo (though the battery slightly reduces trunk volume), premium features, and a composed ride that absorbs bumps well while maintaining composure. It’s a relaxing daily driver that doesn’t sacrifice BMW’s driver-focused nature.
Reliability in a Well-Maintained Used Example
In great condition with proper service history, the 2016 330e has a solid reputation among owners for dependability. Consumer reviews often rate it highly (e.g., 4.7/5 or perfect scores in small samples), praising it as reliable with smooth operation; many owners report trouble-free high-mileage use when maintained.
