Clean Title, Great Work Truck, Basically a little Tank, original engine and low mileage
I am the second owner and selling because I moved to downtown slc, and don't need a car anymore. The previous owner was an old guy who let it sit for awhile (hence the low mileage), so I had to replace plugs, wires, coils, windshield, and the radiator since it sat for so long, as well as new tires and brakes (all of this last year and I can find receipts). It sits at my parents house in Lehi, so I can only meetup on weekends when I am down there. I am not in a rush to sell because it just sits, so make me an offer or think about it.
The Great:
New tires, super reliable, I drove it from Logan to Lehi every week for a year straight. This engine is a tank and runs perfect.
The Good:
Original everything except for what I replaced last year. Goes on the highway with no problem, gets up to speed, never overheats.
The Bad:
If you drive on the highway for more than 2 hours straight, it will start to lose power for a few seconds, and that will happen every few minutes. The mechanic claims that when the clutch gets really warm, it starts to slip and needs to be replaced eventually. I truly do not know but would just drive through it since no overheating or other problems, and even did this for like four hours while hauling a bunch of furniture.
Does not come with AC but can be added yourself, radio does not work, drivers side door lock needs to be fixed. Seats have some tears and the paint is sun-damaged on the top of the truck.
The Ugly:
The top of the gas tank has a hole. It is not dangerous and never sloshes out, but this means the auto-shutoff at the gas station doesn't work because it will just keep filling. I have wanted to drop the gas tank and replace it but I've been too lazy and just stop the gas from filling too much.
