Paid cash at Ken Garff in SLC around 10 years ago and have put less than 50,000 on it using it only for Costco groceries and such.
Runs quite well. No issues.
Oil changes and services before recommended because I like to run fresh oil seasonly just to keep things fresh.
Very minor repairs kept up on along the way by serviced technicians. Such as: 2 year old Interstate battery that still looks new. A new radiator about 1 year ago. New muffler around 5 years ago. Tiny things here and there just to keep up on it.
2 areas of minor body damage on side of bed. (Shown in photos) Affects nothing, merely light cosmetic blemishes. Would be cheap and easy to paint straight. Clear coat and paint are 90% in great. Undercarriage has only very minor surface rust just barely starting.
No pool, no pets, no cigarettes. Well treated and babied for being what it is.
Never eaten in or trashed.
Incredibly low miles for its age. Will run forever if you keep maintaining it well and caring for it as myself and previous owner certainly have. Cheap and simple to fix with an extensive amount of parts readily available anywhere. Many people refuse to part with Tacomas even much older than mine still ticking. Most things are just right there in front of you and with a small amount of know how would be the easiest thing imaginable to wrench on even by yourself. That is if anything does actually go wrong, which it most likely will not for extremely long time, knowing these things.
Clean clear title with truck sitting here in my garage waiting for you to write your name on it.
Garage kept for both its owners.
Only other owner brought it here from California.
Low rust for its age.
Shifts smooth as smooth.
A lot of life left on the clutch.
90% tread on last season’s set of 4 Good Year A/T tires. Amazing good for everything tires.
Will do freeway speeds not a problem. No weird rattles or bussing. Perfect alignment. Smooth as a criminal at 80 mph with much more under its belt.
The fact it is only a 4 cylinder will save you tons of money on the increasing rising cost of fuel. Especially shifting up sooner. You won’t miss the V6. Has plenty of power and torque. Could pull a fairly light trailer easily. A little camper on it or shell would fit perfectly.
U-haul hitch receiver and wiring for trailer lighting preinstalled.
Free Bluetooth usb cassette adapter, to connect your phone to the speakers that have hardly ever been used, so you can blast your own tunes the modern way.
Impressive all around.
Full pick up bed, in good shape with only surface scratches. Quite useful.
Has the locking hubs. Which means to engage 4x4 you get out and turn the front dials from Lock to Free position. The true off roader’s preference. More capable than electronics. Also saving fuel as well as wear and tear. The benefits of 2 wheel drive until you need it. (Which you probably won’t even need to do because it’s an extremely capable winter and off-roading vehicle, especially with the great all terrain tires it’s running.)
Small crack in windshield that runs along hood, not in line of sight of view, so it’s not ticket-able.
Suspension has all been inspected and routinely serviced.
Professionally installed very light black tint application. Looks so great still and they did a solid job because there is not peeling whatsoever, cracked or one bubble. (Older Californian man before me that had it must have really loved this truck because he poured some money into it along the way in the correct areas, you can tell.)
Nothing but cash only.
Make me an offer. Open to best offers. (Worst I am going to tell you is no, and that will be that.)
Fairly firm on price, but also on a deadline here honestly.
Moving to another state soon and unfortunately it doesn’t get to come.
Come take a look. See for yourself. You won’t be disappointed with it, and fall in love with it as I have. Solid, collectable, useful rugged, well made Toyota truck.
