1996 Toyota Camry LE V6 - Runs - Mechanic Special / Project Car - $1,950 OBO

Selling our 1996 Toyota Camry LE V6 4-door sedan with automatic transmission, front-wheel drive 3.0 liter engine, and approximately 243,070 miles. VIN4T1BF12K8TU121136

This is an older Camry that runs and moves under its own power, but it needs work and is being sold as a mechanic special / project car. It would be a better fit for someone who works on cars, wants an inexpensive older Toyota to repair, or needs a parts/project vehicle.

Known issues include, at minimum: oil change needed, tires needed, air conditioning service needed, power steering service needed, brake repair needed, and driver-side door lock/handle repair needed. This is not a complete list. Buyer should inspect the car carefully.

Registration is not current. The car passed emissions up until it was retired from regular driving in Spring 2025, but it has not been kept registered since then. Buyer will be responsible for emissions, registration, and any repairs needed.

Exterior condition is fair to poor for its age. Color is Platinum Metallic (silver/blue). It has dings, rust, scratches with peeling paint, missing trunk emblems, a missing front right hubcap, and the automatic radio antenna no longer works and has been removed. Headlights are aged/hazy.

Interior shows heavy wear, including cracked panels, sticky residue on some plastic parts, worn/stained upholstery and carpet, and a broken latch on the driver-side storage compartment. The original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket unit with Bluetooth, CD player, and remote.

This is not being sold as a ready-to-go daily driver. It runs, but it needs repairs. Buyer should plan to inspect it in person and decide whether to drive it or tow it.
