Potential Repairs: valve cover gasket (I might have this done), paint RR door, passenger driving light (I have part), headlight gaskets (I have parts) and polish lenses. The cooling system has been replaced.

The E39 BMW is in factory original condition other than front valance addition by prior owner (see images). We’ve had this BMW for ~16 1/2 years. It’s been garaged, services, repaired and maintained. I have a record of all expenses related to the vehicle beyond fuel and insurance.

We have more vehicles than we need, and now presently evaluate if we should keep enjoying it, or let it go. Many believe the E39 was the best BMW ever made—analog before complexity (expense) of electronics.

Large cargo capacity, especially with rear seats down. Great for errands! Excellent on highway! (Note: model number is commonly simply 528iT. Badge on rear shows 528i. 528iAT indicates it has an automatic transmission. )
