2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport - Super Clean, Zero Smoke, Zero Leaks - Mechanic's Special
Selling my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with 254,000 miles. It has been a highly reliable vehicle that still runs and drives great. It is super clean inside and out, showing how well it has been cared for over the years. I am selling it as-is as a mechanic's special because it needs a couple of fixes that I don't want to invest time into.
THE GOOD (Tons of New Parts Installed Within Last 3–4 Years!):
Engine Refresh: New crankshaft bottom bearings, flange/seal, and valve cover gaskets.
Zero Smoke & Zero Leaks: Engine runs completely clean and underneath is 100% dry.
Upgraded Cooling & Lines: New radiator and upgraded heavy-duty metal heater/coolant piping.New Ignition & Sensors: New battery, spark plugs, wires, coil pack, and dual Bosch O2 sensors.
New Brakes, Belt, & Exhaust: Fresh brake rotors, brake pads, serpentine belt, and muffler.
New Transmission & Evap: New transmission solenoid pack and vapor canister vent solenoid.
Interior Comfort: Super clean inside and out, perfect heater, and a brand new cabin air blower motor.
Bonus Extras: Excellent tires with lots of tread, 2 keys with 2 remote fobs, and factory power steering recall already resolved. Clean title in hand!
THE HONEST TRUTH:
Water Pump: The water pump is currently making a noise and will need to be replaced soon. I only drive it on short 4-mile trips right now.
Emissions/Codes: It currently has a cylinder 6 misfire code (P0306) and a couple of emissions monitors are incomplete, so it will not pass a Utah emissions test as-is.
Minor Quirks: The sliding door locks must be locked/unlocked manually, and the turn signal lever does not automatically click back into place (you just return it manually after turning).
AC: The air conditioning does not work.
Cosmetics: Has a cracked windshield, a few rust spots, and typical dings/scratches for its age (all shown clearly in the pictures).
This is a fantastic, cheap vehicle for a DIY backyard mechanic who can swap a water pump, a work van for short commutes, or a daily runabout.$1,300 or best offer.
Cash only. Buyer must handle transport. Located in the Salt Lake area. Message me to take a look!
