This lady will take you for some of the best rides of your life!...That being said, this car is toeing the line of being a mechanic special.
I've owned this car since 2021 and she's seen backcountry Utah and the freeway many times. I recently upgraded to a new car and can't have it sitting around :(
Pros:
-New water pump (summer '25)
-New brakes front and back (summer '25)
-New front rotors (summer '25)
-Newish battery
-New taillights (fall '24)
-Only misfires 50% of the time
-Operating sunroof
-Spare key
-(mostly) intact leather interior
-New rotator belt (summer '25)
-LTE heated seats
-Rearview mirror maintenance reminder system
-Huge cargo space. I've slept out of the back many time's as it's been my camping vehicle for years
Cons:
-AC and heat/defrost do not work
-Master harness in driver side door went out so windows don't roll down (sunroof works)
-Some type of misfire 50% of the time
-rebuilt title (before I owned it) but it does have exterior damage on passenger side
-Not open for comment, but the exhaust and catalytic converter rusted so I took them off (DOES NOT PASS EMISSIONS)
-Rear windshield wiper motor is bad
-Mild exterior and moderate undercarriage rust
-Think I blew one of the speakers blasting white girl pregame music....undecided. There's a slight buzz
Decent:
-~13-16 MPG/city
-~18-20 MPG/highway
-aside from tears on driver seat and some nicks, leather interior is intact
-I've saved almost every receipt for parts/services done since 2021 so if any lingering transferrable warranties exist, they're yours
I have loved this car, but ultimately it got to be to much to do some of the bigger maintenance things. However, Jeeps are notoriously easy to work on yourself (brakes, rotors, tensioner pulley, timing belt, alternator, battery/battery cables and pole replacements more done in my backyard) so if you're handy at all, this car could run you quite a while longer.
While there are some things wrong, this motherfricker is indestructible. Still has that undeniable Jeep giddyup. With some TLC she'll be running the roads again.
She drives, so test drives are a possibility, just don't be surprised if it ain't smooth
