1997 Dodge extended cab 3500 1 ton dually 12 valve 277,000 miles. 12 valve motor is in good shape it was replaced with a 12 valve out of a bus in 2017 the motor only has around 234,000 miles. I’m no mechanic, I was told the 12 valve out of a bus is even more heavy duty, bigger oil pan and block. If you’re looking for a 12 valve this is a good one. The automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2020 and has around 30,000 miles on the transmission. This is a good truck. I am in the process of moving out of state and don’t have the time to fix the truck. Besides the damage from the low impact collision the truck is in good shape

I was involved in a low impact collision. The insurance totaled the truck due to age, so now it has a salvage title. I took the bumper off and some of the supports in order to get the truck fixed that is as far as I got the truck needs a new hood right front fender a radiator and radiator support bracket. Maybe a new trans cooler Most of the damage was caused from the big push bumper. The bumper has very little damage but when it got pushed in it wrecked the fender and hood.
