Looking to downsize my driveway as I simply don't need multiple vehicles anymore. I have owned this Maxima since February 2024. It’s a comfortable, quick, and highly optioned daily driver that still runs and shifts, but it will need some mechanical TLC to be perfect. Check Engine light is on.
The Details
Year/Model: 2009 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV
Drivetrain: Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) / 3.5L V6 Engine
Exterior Color: Red (Tuscan Sun)
Interior Color: Black
The Good (Premium SV Features)
Comfort & Tech: Power sunroof, backup camera, keyless entry with push-button ignition.
Convenience: HomeLink universal garage door opener and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Audio: Stock stereo system that gets surprisingly loud and sounds great.
Utility: Massive trunk space.
Styling: Tinted windows, dual exhaust, and 17-inch premium alloy wheels.
The Honest Truth (Current Condition)
I believe in full transparency so nobody's time is wasted. The price reflects the following items that need attention:
Transmission: The transmission has started to randomly hesitate when shifting. It still shifts and the car is operational, but it will need diagnostics or service soon for it to perform optimally.
Suspension: Some parts of the front suspension are worn and need to be replaced (expect some typical front-end noise/wear).
Tires: Will need a new set of tires soon; the current ones have very low tread / are bald.
Exterior: Clearcoat sun damage on the hood and trunk lid. The front bumper has some scuffs, and there is minor curb rash on the wheels.
Interior: There is a rip on the passenger seat fabric (black interior otherwise in decent shape).
Price: $1750 OBO
This is a great project car or a cheap fixer-upper for someone handy who can address the suspension and transmission quirk.
