We bought McBus 30 years ago when we had 10 children and drove all over the United States pulling a travel trailer. Now that they're all gone, for the last many years we have just used it a few times a year to pull our boat. It has always worked very well until a few years ago when the A/C compressor died and couldn't be repaired or replaced. After hauling the boat to Lake Powel one summer without A/C we decided we wouldn't do that again and bought a newer van with A/C. But for the loss of the A/C, we would have kept driving McBus for the foreseeable future. He's a great old people hauler and could be used for a stuff hauler with 12 clear feet of cargo space behind the front seats. The odometer quit years ago at 275,000 miles.
