Amazing van that we are sad to part with. My husband and I have built out this van over the past 3 years and lived in it for a winter for a ski trip. We don't want to part with it but need more of a daily driver. 68k miles
We have not had any mechanical issues and previous owner said the same. Oil has been changed religiously every 5k and cared for with love!
This was the last year that Ford made the Econoline vans and it has been well cared for. It was converted to 4x4 in Salt Lake City and lifted ~10 inches by the previous owner. The 4x4 has both hi and low and works excellent in the snow. The all season tires are on the van now and they have about 10k miles on them but are in good condition. WINTER TIRES INCLUDED - they are blizzak tires and only have ~5k miles on them.
There are two 100 amp hour batteries that are charged via shore power that is easily accessible from the back. Solar could be added to the roof!
We have the parts for 10 gallon water system, however, I removed it for our last big trip for more space. When operable, there is no grey water tank, the sink basin is removable so you can just take it out and pour out any grey water. There is also the parts for a shower out the back of the van.
The toilet is removable and easily slides in and out for use. It has a 5.3 gallon tank.
There is a 5kw diesel heater. Details can be found at this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LFFFCJT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The diesel tank can be seen in pictures and is accessed via the back door.
The roof was put on by Tuffport in Delta, BC. You can comfortably walk around in it if you are 6ft tall!
There is lots of storage, and the shelving was designed around the ski box that can fit skis up to ~210cm.
The bed is a trifold bed you can get an idea of how it slides out in the pictures.
The passenger seat is a captains chair on a swivel base. This is great for being able to hang out in the van.
There is a hitch with both a 4 prong and 7 prong hook up (however no trailer brake wiring).
We have loved this van that we called home for a stint. This van is so awesome and ready for its next adventure! Happy to answer any questions!
