1995 Nissan Truck XE V6 4WD King Cab 5-speed
The last of the legendary Hardbody. After 30 years the name still fits. These are becoming collectables. Everything works—it drives great. Cold AC and hot heater, Sony USB/MP3/CD marine-grade deck with Pioneer speakers. The windows and doors work. Seats 4. Has the Nissan bed liner and cargo attachment kit. It has tow-hitch and a four-pin trailer hookup with the front end recovery hook as well. 16-inch wheels with oversized Achilles Desert Hawk tires with plenty of tread. Full-sized spare tire/deadman. Struts are firm and tight. Area 51 Blue with tasteful rally stripes. Modern LED headlamps. The clutch is good and everything shifts. Automatic self-locking hubs work fine and it moves into 2H, 4H, and 4L without complaint. This pickup can probably go almost anywhere you ask it to.
Bonus: This truck comes with an extensive parts collection including a spare engine, transmission, transfer case, and rear-end (all at ~150k miles), plus alternator, brake booster, master cylinder, power-steering pump, AC compressor, radiator, complete wiring harness, windows, glass, seats, bumper, mirrors, trim, and a bin of belts, bulbs, and fuses. Perfect for restoration, modification, or long-term maintenance.
Issues: Some superficial rust on the rear wheel wells, small enough to repair or hide under the trim flares. It leaks a little oil but not much (probably a pan gasket). Tachometer works intermittently. The fifth gear bearing is a little loud, and it squeaks and groans a little off-road—but that's to be expected at 30 years old.
I'm letting this go because I need the storage and honestly, while it runs great as-is, it's a project truck at heart. It needs someone with the time and vision to take it further. I've loved it, but it's ready for its next chapter.
