I bought this a couple months ago because I love it and it’s amazing. I get so many compliments on this thing and lots of starts and thumbs up. Super rad car. I’m the third owner reportedly. The second owner had it for the majority of its life, and got it at some point in the late 80s. She got dementia and didn’t drive it for the last 10 years and then I picked it up.

I fixed the pop-up headlights and replace the little bushings in there so they should not have any more problems.

It does have some cosmetic things about it but for a 40-year-old car it’s in great shape.

I had a large service done just a few months ago and put $5000 into it to have a bunch of the lines replaced and the shocks and struts replaced so as far as I’m aware it’s in great mechanical condition and should give a lot of pretty trouble free driving. All in I bought it for about 15,000 put 5000 in so that’s where this price is coming from.

I already drove it from Spokane, Washington to Utah and it gave me zero trouble so I know I can do a long road trip easily.

There are some things here that I would like to fix, but I am discovering that I don’t have a lot of time and I’m not particularly mechanically inclined so it’s taking me longer to get to these projects than I wish. That’s part of the reason that I am looking at selling it because I’ve realized that I’m not exactly a “work on your car kind of guy.” The other reason is I’ve sort of experienced it, and realized I’m not so into owning more than one car as I thought I would be. And I enjoy my motorcycle more in the end if I want to have fun in a motorized thing.

What I would like to have fixed: minor paint chips, and some small paint defects around the outside.

A cassette player doesn’t play that’s why I’ve been wanting to take it out and fiddle with it to see if I can make it play cassettes. The windshield washer does not spray but the wipers work.

The rearview mirror mirrors seem to have a stripped gear so they don’t seem to be able to be adjusted very far, but they are in a good position to use them as they are.

The air conditioner does not blow very cold, but it does make a little bit of cold.

The headliner has a few area where it seems to have lost adhesion and I would like to replace that, but it’s minor.

The seats in the interior otherwise is in really great shape, but it generally has the smell of a 40 year-old car. Not a smoke smell, but sort of an old foam smell. Replacing the seats and carpet and headliner I think would make it smell like new and that’s something that I would like to do eventually.

Again, I have a lot of eventually in here and over the last few months. I’ve realized that I’m a lot more busy than I thought and eventually is seeming further and further down the road. ;)
