This is a very nice Porsche Cayenne Hybrid with the supercharged 3.0T engine and hybrid drive system.
** It has a P0018 code which is the driver's side cam phaser being out-of-normal, which also triggers a P0300 code (driver's side misfires). This costs about $2,000-$4,000 to repair from a local Euro repair shop. (MUCH more from Porsche of course).
It runs and accelerates and will go into drive and all gears, but it doesn't like it. The hybrid system works just fine and you can use that to get it on to a trailer to take it to your mechanic or shop. ** It also has new coils and plugs.
Chasing this to avoid having to do that service, I have replaced the camshaft solenoid, cam position sensor, and have done 2 full oil changes with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and new filter. I also changed the oil pan, oil level sensor, and hood latch. The original hood latch switch broke and wouldn't reset the oil level, so I changed the oil level sensor and bent the mount for it (sucks!)... so new oil pan and sensor. Now it shows temp and level. The new latch works great.
So after all of that troubleshooting, I figured it needs the new cam phaser. So I'm selling it because I am sick of working on it and I don't want to personally touch the cams. Maybe it's not that and you know a trick to fix it... but selling it as-is.
My loss, your gain.
If you have any mechanical ability, you can make a quick profit on fixing it and selling it.
The car has also been lightly rear-ended and the rear bumper and hatch are a little banged up because of that. I actually bought a trailer hitch to put on when I was going to fix the bumper and hatch at a body shop. It also has a scuff/dent right above the hybrid badge on the passenger side and a few scratches. Not deep enough to rust, but it's noticeable if you know to look. All this should be easily fixed by a body shop.
It has new tires with less than 10,000 miles on them.
I'll throw in the trailer hitch if you'd like.
I also have a set of original Cayenne Turbo rims and (bald) tires I can throw in, since they are just sitting next to the garage.
Fix all of that and you'll have a great running and driving hybrid Porsche.
