His name is Blanco. Clean, comfortable, compact BMW SUV. Pleasant to drive and gets excellent fuel mileage. It's got plenty of cargo space (great for college) and a neat sound system. Has BMW's "cornering" headlights, a great feature. Owned the car for almost a year, ~10K miles. The car had some of the typical maintenance/repairs done on it before I bought it, most notably the engine mounts and brakes. I had the transmission/differential fluid changed soon after I bought it, as it was due for a service. Recently started noticing subtle transmission slips during acceleration, so I took it into a shop (Madison Auto). Mechanic recommended another fluid change, so I had that service done a couple weeks ago and it runs much better now. Could be a sign of wear. I'm sad to part with this car, but I've decided I need something less expensive to own.
