2001 Audi TT Roadster convertible. 5-speed manual. 180 hp front wheel drive. Drives excellent. Power top works great. Newer tires. Only 97k original miles. Clean Utah title in hand.
We bought it last year from its original owner, who had bought it new at Dave Strong's and got it serviced there all its life with records available. We have absolutely loved this car, so much so that we are only replacing it with the same year four seat version so the kids can come along for the ride. This roadster seats two. It is less expensive to insure than its sportier 225 hp sister but still has lots of power. Comes with the boot/convertible top cover as pictured and two fobs and extra valet keys, user manual, etc.
Very clean car, never smoked in etc but definitely shows its age. We would drive it across the country today with no reservation. It does have small/cosmetic issues that you can fix if you'd like. For example, airbag light is on (never deployed) and the a/c does not blow cold on super hot days. The heater and seat heaters work great in the winter. One of the seat heater buttons pops out of its socket but is easy to pop back in. The original seats have lots of cracks and have been covered up with aftermarket seat covers. The seats still work perfectly fine. The hidden rear window that cuts down on wind does not roll up automatically when top is opened (supposedly an easy fix with a new belt) but we like the extra air. The windshield has a small bullseye chip as pictured, it is not a crack with any spreading legs so we left it alone. Right front fender and left rear fender have small dings/scratches. The paint clearcoat is peeling off in multiple places as pictured. The stereo and its multi CD changer work great but the cosmetic cover that goes over the stereo doesn't stay closed.
We had the dash computer, wiper fluid reservoir, as well as hood and trunk shocks repaired.
