We’re selling our 2012 Volkswagen Eos because we’re moving and downsizing, so we no longer need the extra vehicle. This has been a fun car for us, and several significant repairs and improvements have recently been completed.

The power retractable hardtop operates smoothly and does not leak. The car regularly goes through automatic car washes without any water getting inside. We also have a video showing the convertible top opening and closing.

• Rebuilt/restored Utah title

• The vehicle was previously issued a salvage title and was later repaired and returned to operation

• We do not have records showing the original cause of the salvage designation or the extent of the original damage

• The recent engine rebuild is separate from the vehicle’s rebuilt-title history

• Current on required emissions and inspections

• The thermostat sensor needs to be replaced. This causes the check-engine light to turn on and off intermittently.

• The installed LED headlights occasionally flicker rapidly, which can make nighttime driving difficult when the issue occurs. Adjusting the headlight switch has usually corrected it temporarily, but the issue should be properly diagnosed and repaired.

Other than the disclosed issues, the car runs and drives well.
