2013 VW Jetta 2.0L 119K Miles Mechanic Special

This is a fabulous jetta - but, the timing belt has lost some teeth and jumped so it will not start.

I was driving to a meeting, idling at a stop light, and the car ran rough for a few seconds and died and it turns out that it is because the timing belt jumped.

This car was ordered from Volkswagen to have extra features for this model including the heated seats and cruise in addition to power windows & doors.

The car is in great condition and everything works apart from the jumped timing belt. It was kept in the garage, it was my wifes car, then my daughters car. We're not going to fix it because with our kids all grown and married or off to college we have extra cars.
