Selling my 2006 Hyundai Elantra because we recently purchased a newer vehicle. It still starts, runs, and drives, but I'm selling it as-is due to several known mechanical issues. This could be a good project car, inexpensive commuter for someone who can do their own repairs, or a parts vehicle.
Clean title in hand.
Runs and drives.
Air conditioning and heating work great.
Bluetooth radio/stereo system installed by previous owner.
Timing belt replaced within the last year.
Interior is in very good condition.
Exterior is in good condition for its age.
Has been a dependable car/daily driver for many years. (I bought it in 2020 and it hasn't needed any major repairs during my time owning it. Just recently started developing problems)
Known issues:
Check engine light is on.
Airbag warning light is on.
Recently started accelerating a bit slower from a stop, but fine once up to speed.
Burns or leaks oil and needs the oil level checked regularly.
Engine has seemed louder since the timing belt replacement a year ago.
Brakes require more pedal pressure than expected when backing up.
I scanned the vehicle with an OBD-II reader and can provide the diagnostic codes (P0016, P0340, P2270, P0420)
Asking $1,400 OBO. Can message me on KSL or text me at 385-264-4649
