Bought this truck a year ago, paid $4500 for it. Sold to us with no check engine lights and “no problems”

However in the last year we have spent more time repairing it then driving it.

Recent repairs and new parts include:

• Rebuilt cylinder heads

• New head gaskets

• New spark plugs and plug wires

• New fuel injectors

• New Idle Air Control (IAC) valve

• New Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor

• New alternator

• New battery

• New vacuum hoses

• Oil pan gaskets replaced

• Multiple oil and coolant services within the last year

• New fuel filter (included)

• Extra EVAP charcoal canister and additional spare parts included

After all engine work it has only the code P1450, but as of this week its current diagnostic codes are P0306 (cylinder 6 misfire), P0174, P1506, and P1450. The truck still runs and drives, but it will need further diagnosis or repair. This would make a great project, work truck, or vehicle for someone familiar with the Ford 4.0L engine.
