Here is an '06 8.1L HD2500 with the Allison 6 speed automatic transmission in very good mechanical condition. We bought the truck from the original owner with 240K on it.

The front end was rebuilt, new upper and lower ball joints/control arms

Power steering gear, tie rods, drag link,

Hydraboost, oil pan gaskets and more, all with OEM/premium parts.

All of this was done when we got the truck 3 years ago.

This past month we replaced all 4 of the calipers, rotors, pad sets, wheel brake hoses and the two front wheel bearing sets. All with OEM/premium parts. We have receipts for the work done in the previous 2 paragraphs as well as a maintenance log since we got the truck, I am militant on diffs, oil, lubing chassis etc.

This truck had a CNG setup installed when it was new and it primarily ran on natural gas and on the highway.

The engine hours are very low for the mileage. Natural gas does not make as much power as gasoline and it burns much cleaner. The engine and trans are in excellent, CLEAN condition.

I removed the CNG system when we got the truck as the tanks were in the bed and I wanted a gooseneck hitch in it.

I serviced the Allison (both filters) and was very clean inside.

I installed a B &W Gooseneck hitch and we used it for my wife to pull her horse trailer, a 3 horse, steel trailer which it does with ease.

All the glass is perfect. Hot heater, COLD AC.

The radio is not the original and the "Alpine" that is in it is not as user friendly as a stock radio.

Michelin tires with 80% tread left.

The truck is ready to go to work as soon as you get it home.

It has some rattles and it is not perfect but if you want a MECHANICALLY SOUND 8.1L truck that has not been tuned or messed with by ill informed owners, this might be the one.
