2010 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX 4x4, 5.7L HEMI, New Tires
$8,500 OBO, willing to negotiate
Selling my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX 4x4 with the 5.7-liter HEMI V8. It currently has 156,449 miles and has been a very reliable, well-maintained truck.
This thing has been a pavement princess. It has never been abused as an off-road toy or used as a heavy-duty work truck. I drive it like an old man, but it cruises effortlessly on long trips and has a very smooth, comfortable ride.
The truck was previously owned by a mechanic who used Motul synthetic oil. I have owned it for the past three years and have used either Valvoline or Pennzoil full synthetic oil. Oil changes and routine maintenance have always been completed on time.
I’m also extremely particular about keeping the interior clean. There are no stains, and the interior is in excellent condition overall aside from a small tear on the edge of the driver’s seat from getting in and out.
I recently had the truck inspected by a Mopar mechanic. Other than the driver-side exhaust manifold bolts, it has zero known mechanical or powertrain issues. The passenger-side manifold was recently repaired, and I have the paperwork. Exhaust manifold bolts are a common issue on these trucks.
Replacing the driver-side manifold bolts will eliminate the all-too-common exhaust-manifold “HEMI tick.” This is an exhaust leak issue, not a lifter tick. The truck has no lifter problems whatsoever.
I’m willing to negotiate the cost of having the driver-side exhaust manifold repaired before the sale. A buyer who would rather handle the repair can take $400 off the agreed-upon price.
The brakes were also recently replaced, and I have paperwork for both the brake work and the passenger-side manifold repair.
Features and highlights include:
• 5.7L HEMI V8
• Four-wheel drive
• Factory towing package
• Trailer hitch
• New tires
• Like-new studded winter tires included
• Recently replaced brakes
• Recently repaired passenger-side exhaust manifold
• Synthetic oil used throughout my ownership
• Oil changes and maintenance always completed on time
• Cold air conditioning
• Aftermarket backup camera
• Working power windows and power locks
• Working CD player
• Working 115V AC outlet
• Extremely clean, stain-free interior
• Recently inspected by a Mopar mechanic
• Clean title in hand
There is some rust underneath the doors and a small amount on the tailgate, which is reflected in the price. Otherwise, the truck is in great shape for its age and mileage.
I’m trying to be completely upfront about everything. This is a mechanically sound, comfortable 4x4 HEMI with a strong maintenance history, towing capability, two sets of tires, and plenty of life left in it.
I am willing to negotiate with a serious buyer. Cash is preferred, but I will also accept a cashier’s check that can be verified with the issuing bank before the title and truck are handed over.
Located in the Salt Lake City area.
I’ll be out of town until Tuesday, July 28. I can arrange showings beginning Friday, July 31.
Serious inquiries only. No trades. Absolutely will not reply to “is this still available?”
