First and foremost, this was a project vehicle, it runs great and the AC works well. Second, the master cylinder needs some attention, the brakes will not still you. You will want to trailer this.
Purchased this for my 16 year old 6 years ago for him to learn how to fix cars, Land Rovers are excellent for that since they always need something fixed. He drove it all over the place and it's worked great. He's moved now and I'm no longer patient enough to fix the issue with the brakes.
Everything works like it should except for the sunroofs (they are screwed shut by a previous owner).
The lower fog lights do not turn on, but are wired up (we added those back to the vehicle since they were removed).
The brakes are super spongey (I'd argue mostly useless).
The fuel gauge is a lying liar (it's always on Empty or on Full, no in-between unless the need is moving to the other side, it's a wiring problem or an ECU problem).
The AC works great, but now and again, it'll turn off, just touching the fan speed will turn it back on.
As intended from when gas was cheaper, this gets around 6mpg.
As with all British vehicles from this era, it's got rust in places. Just expect it.
This is a perfect project for anyone wanting a beastly Land Rover from yesteryear.
