First owner, we bought it new from the dealership. Rare 6 speed manual transmission.
Reason for selling:
Kids were outgrowing the forester, otherwise we would’ve kept it forever.
Condition:
100% kept under shade under our carport. Very minimal fading from sun. Always kept a windshield shade up as well. No rips or tears on the interior. There is a dent in the front right panel, but not paint cracking or chips. We never got around to pulling it out. There are some exterior marks and chips. The windshield has three rock chips we never filled and they have never cracked. This has been a car our kids grew up in. There are stains, but the car has been thoroughly cleaned and stain remover has been used to get as much out as possible, but usual wear and tear from car seats and kids has occurred. Otherwise, the car looks and smells good.
Maintenance:
-Regular oil changes and tire rotations every 5k miles at Tunex.
-Milestone maintenance performed per Subaru recommendations.
Repairs and mechanical condition:
-The only thing that doesn’t work is the drivers side lumbar support adjustment. The engine is strong. Everything else works like new.
-2024 - repaired and refurbished clutch - Tunex
-2025 - replaced AC condenser and compressor -Tunex
-2025 - suspension strut replacement -Tunex
Tires:
Just bought brand new Michelin Defender all season tires from Costco that have less than 100 miles on them.
Has a moonroof. Does not have apple or android CarPlay. Can still plug in your phone and play music through the speakers without needing additional hardware.
Maintenance records:
Have these in person and can show upon request during a viewing of the vehicle.
Title:
I never took the lien release from the bank to the dmv to obtain the physical title. I posted the vehicle for sale before realizing this and now it’s going to take 10 from 8/7 before I can have the dmv clear the title for transfer to a new person, and at least 2-3 weeks from 8/7 before I can obtain the physical title, if that’s the route a buyer wants to go.
Offers:
Full transparency, I have already received up to $9k in offers. The car will go to the highest bidder that is willing to wait for the title to be sorted out.
Test drives:
I will ride along. No joyrides and no drivers that don’t know how to drive stick. If you grind the gears, we will stop and I will drive.
