6 Speed Manual – Family Owned Since 2005
Up for sale is my 2003 Acura CL Type-S equipped with the highly sought-after 6-speed manual transmission. With only a small number of manual CL Type-S models produced, these cars have become increasingly difficult to find, especially in clean, well-maintained condition.
This CL has been in my family since 2005 and has always been cared for mechanically. It currently has 225,000 miles and remains a strong, reliable driver. The engine pulls well, the 6-speed transmission shifts smoothly, the AC blows cold, and the car is ready to be enjoyed.
Over the past three years, the following maintenance has been completed:
Timing belt replacement,
Harmonic balancer/crank pulley replacement, Alternator replacement, Battery replacement, and Brake service. I have changed the oil regularly myself.
The car has also been tastefully upgraded with:
• Aftermarket headers, Cold air intake, and a Rear anti-sway bar.
Cosmetically, the car presents its age with large portions of clear coat peeling, some scrathes, and rock chips. The interior is very clean, and im hreat shape.
As with any 23-year-old vehicle, there are a few known issues that the next owner should be aware of:
• Small engine oil leak, SRS (airbag) warning light is illuminated, the Tires need balancing, the Passenger heated seat is inoperative, and the windshield is cracked. Overall, this is an honest, mechanically solid example of a rare Acura performance coupe. It's an excellent opportunity for an enthusiast looking for one of Acura's most unique and underrated modern classic. Whether you're looking for a fun daily driver, a weekend cruiser, or a future collectible, this 6-speed CL Type-S is becoming harder to find in original, long-term ownership. The car is located in Brigham City please text me to make an appointment or ask any questions.
