Selling my 1988 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. I wasn’t planning on selling it, but I just don’t have the time or money to keep working on a project vehicle.
The biggest thing this Bronco has going for it is the mileage—it has just under 99,000 original miles. It starts up, runs well, drives great, and has been a fun truck to own.
I’ve gone through quite a bit of the maintenance so the next owner has a solid foundation. Work that’s been done includes:
New oil pump
New front brakes (rotors, pads, and calipers)
New rear brakes (drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, and rear brake lines)
Transmission serviced with new filter, gasket, and fresh fluid
New spark plugs and wires
New fuel filter
New inline high-pressure fuel pump
New EGR tube and plenum gaskets
New ignition actuator
New ignition switch
New ignition lock cylinder
Radiator replaced
Tires are nearly new with lots of tread remaining
The body definitely shows its age, but that’s also what makes it a great Bronco to build however you want. It’s a solid driver that you can enjoy now while improving it over time.
It comes with:
Two complete sets of keys
One brand-new spare key
Information on several affordable Bronco parts suppliers that I’ve used
I’ve been told I’m the fourth owner and that the mileage is original. The Bronco sat for a while before I bought it, which is why I’ve spent a lot of time replacing aging parts and getting it back into reliable driving condition.
Price has been dropped to $7,500 OBO. If you’ve been looking for an OBS Bronco with low miles that you can drive while making it your own, come take a look. Feel free to message me with any questions.
