1993 Ford Econoline 150 Van with Dry Build inside.

Driven 117,143 miles, I built out the inside and lived in this van for 2 years here in Utah. There were 2 previous owners that I am aware of. When I received it, it was wide open inside with only a driver seat and tongue and groove wood flooring.

There are some quirks needed maintenance, and this is by no means a perfect vehicle. I would say it’s in fair to good condition for its age.

This van has been my daily driver, and I haven’t had any issues passing emissions. Everything is current, reg expires in October, clean title in hand.

I did a build inside the van in 2024, and did a couple fun camping trips last summer down in Southern Utah.

Some notes:

—Fully synthetic oil change was done in May, along with transmission fluid, brake fluid, new coolant, and a general safety check. I stayed on top of oil changes while owning I have owned this rig.

—Replaced Brake Pads and Front Left hydraulic hose on 7.27.26

— The heater works but the AC does not.

—My mechanic said the suspension will need to be looked at further, and the right front tire needs to be replaced. The original rim that matches the others is tucked under the van where the spare goes.

--He also looked at the trasmission and said there is a leak coming from somewhere which needs to be addressed. Fluid stays topped up.

—The blinker doesn’t flash, so you manually have to press it up and down to indicate you are turning.

—As you see in the video, there is only a driver seat, and a cushioned platform for your furry companion to ride along where the passenger seat would be.

—I built the bed to expand out, beyond the drawers. It collapses back in when you don’t need the full width to save space.

All in all I am sad to part with this fun camping rig, but we are having a baby and I need to purchase a family friendly vehicle for all of us to ride in together.

This would be a great first van project for you if you’re looking to test out van life without having to spend the money to do a build yourself.

I called it a dry build because there is no water or electricity wired inside the van. It’s more of a rustic camper than a full on livable conversion. That said, I roughed it in this thing for a couple years and survived to sell it to you ;)
