2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer AWD V8 — $1,750 OBO

Selling my 2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition with 214,000 miles. I’m the second owner; the original owner was a Ford executive, so it was very well equipped and has some fun early-2000s extras—including a built-in voice recorder.

Clean title, no accidents.

The Explorer is not currently running and has been sitting for about four years. I don’t know why it isn’t running and haven’t had it diagnosed, so I’m selling it as-is rather than guessing about what it needs. Buyer will need to arrange towing or transport.

Cosmetically, it’s in pretty good shape for a 25-year-old vehicle. Some of the paint has peeled on the rear, and one of the leather seats is torn, but otherwise the body and interior are in good condition for its age.

This is the Eddie Bauer AWD 5.0 V8 configuration, with a lot of the original higher-end features still intact. Could be a good project for someone familiar with these Explorers, especially given the clean title, accident-free history, and good tires.

$1,750 OBO. I’m not in a hurry to sell, so I’m looking for someone who sees the value in it rather than just a scrap/parts offer.
