Meet Gwen. We've had Gwen with no problems for five years, but her hybrid battery is toast. POA80 code.
The engine will start, the car will drive, but it's pretty gutless at present :) We had the battery rebuilt, but the repair didn't stick so now we're trying to recoup some of the cost before moving on. If you've recently replaced your hybrid battery and then smashed your car, Gwen is the one you're looking for! (Or if you feel like rebuilding a hybrid battery as a side hobby, or if you need a whole bunch of parts and you hate junk yards, or whatever.)
Cons:
Windshield has some chips and there is a slow oil leak in the pan gasket. It doesn't leak on your driveway because it is inside the oil pan. We have just had it topped up with oil every couple thousand miles and haven't got around to fixing that yet. (And now we wont) Also, NO HYBRID BATTERY
Pros:
Gwen still gets about 35 mpg on a bad day. (With a hybrid battery) Roadtrips will hit 40 .
Keyless start with 2 key fobs.
She's a lady with some years, but she's in pretty good cosmetic shape. No accidents, very regular maintenance with full synthetic oil.
Clean title in hand.
Price IS negotiable.
