150,000 miles on the vehicle.

I've recently put significant money into it, including:

• $1,000 in new tires — recently installed

• wheel bearings rotors and brakes.

Engine rebuilt by previous owner and rebuilt engine has fewer than 100,000 miles on it

Battery 3 years old. There is an electrical draw somewhere so if car sits too long battery will drain.

The Explorer is in good overall condition for its age and is currently drivable.

PLEASE READ: The transmission is going out and will need to be rebuilt or replaced soon. It is still drivable, but I do not recommend it for long-distance driving in its current condition. I'm being completely upfront about this so there are no surprises for the buyer.

This would be a good vehicle for someone who does their own mechanical work, has access to a mechanic, or is looking for an inexpensive SUV/project. With the recent tires, wheel bearing work and rebuilt engine, a lot of the major maintenance has already been addressed.
