2009 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 3LT | LS3 | DRIFT BUILD | 60° ANGLE | CLEAN TITLE
$20,000 | 109,000 Miles | Clean Title
Selling my 2009 Chevrolet Corvette 3LT powered by the 6.2L LS3 V8. This is a purpose-built C6 drift car with a 60° angle kit, hydraulic handbrake, and a substantial amount of recent engine work.
This is a great starting point for somebody who wants an LS3 C6 drift build without buying a completely stock Corvette and starting from zero. It is not a finished, turn-key build and will need some additional work, which is reflected in how I’m representing the car.
BUILD / CHASSIS
60° angle kit
Hydraulic handbrake
Aftermarket shifter
Modified steering/angle setup
NRG components
aFe Power components
Vented hood
Aftermarket wheels
Drift suspension setup
The car has approximately 60° of steering angle and is already set up for drifting. It’s a functional foundation with the major components already in place and plenty of room for the next owner to finish and dial it in the way they want.
RECENT ENGINE / MAINTENANCE
Brand-new LS3 heads
Brand-new valves
New oil pump
New radiator fan
New spark plugs
New oil-pressure sensor
Fresh fluids
Front tires have been replaced
The factory oil-pressure gauge is slightly off and tends to fluctuate. Oil pressure has been verified with a mechanical gauge and checks out fine.
WHAT IT STILL NEEDS
I want to be completely upfront about the car. This is a project/drift car and it will need some additional work.
It will most likely need:
Battery
A few power-steering hoses
Power-steering fluid/service
Additional sorting as you continue dialing in the build
There is also cosmetic damage and general wear throughout the car. Look closely at the pictures because I’m showing it as it sits. I’m not advertising this as a flawless street Corvette or pretending it’s a finished show car.
Bring a trailer.
This would be a great car for somebody who understands modified cars and wants a strong starting point to finish themselves.
3LT / INTERIOR
Being a 3LT, it still retains a well-equipped C6 interior with black leather, heated seats, dual-zone climate control, power equipment, removable targa top and a Pioneer touchscreen.
You still have a lot of the factory Corvette interior instead of starting with a completely gutted shell.
THE VALUE IS IN THE FOUNDATION
You’re starting with a clean-title, 109k-mile LS3 C6, not a salvage shell or an unfinished roller.
It already has the 60° angle setup, hydro, steering/suspension modifications, wheels and recent LS3 work completed. The next owner can address the remaining items, clean up the cosmetics and continue building it exactly how they want.
If you’re expecting a perfect, completely sorted street Corvette for $20k, this isn’t that car.
If you’re looking for a clean-title LS3 C6 drift project with a lot of the expensive groundwork already done, this is a very good start.
