Description
2011 Mazda 3 with 182,000 miles. Clean title. Smoke and pet free. This has been a good car for our son but he is going off to college and not planning to take a car with him. We had a bunch of work done on it in February - replaced both front CV axles, both front lower control arms, both front and rear sway bar links, replaced engine mounts, serpentine belt, valve cover gasket, and power steering pressure hoses. Also had the transmission serviced.
These are the issues with it: AC blows hot. We recharged it and it was cold for a bit but then turned hot again so I think it may be a leak. The front wiper fluid will not come out even though the reservoir is full. Not sure what that’s about. The clear coat has worn off the top of the car (see photos). The bottom of the front bumper passenger side has a crack in it after my son ran over some debris on the highway that fell off of a truck in front of him.
Other than that, I believe it is in very solid mechanical condition and will be a reliable car for at least a few more years. The interior is very clean. It is a very good little car at this price point. Most $4k and under are not in as good a shape. Would be great for a student or as a daily driver.
