6.7 Power Stroke – Crew Cab – 4x4 – 279k miles

I’m selling my F-350.

Not because it’s a bad truck. Mostly because apparently I enjoy spending several months obsessively shopping for another truck, building spreadsheets, assigning points to paint colors, and generally turning a simple vehicle purchase into a graduate-level research project.

So this one needs a new home.

It’s a 2012 Ford F-350 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4, 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, in the two-tone burgundy/red over tan that Ford used back when trucks were still allowed to have some personality. Tan leather interior. Short bed. And, most importantly, it is not black, gray, or another shade of parking-lot camouflage.

It has about 279,000 miles, which sounds like a lot if you’re shopping for a Camry, but considerably less alarming if you understand 6.7 Power Strokes.

I’m the second owner. first owner bought it at Wilson Ford, always serviced it at Wilson Ford, traded it in next door to Wilson for, where I bought it. serviced impeccably.

• heated and cooled seats
• remote start, block heater,
• Approx. 279k miles
• 6'8" bed
• Good tires (around 10k miles on them)
• S&S DPK (a fuel system upgrade with spin-on filtration)
• Aftermarket cold-side charge pipe (a common failure point)
• EZ-Lynk capable, with sotf installed
• all emissions equipment is intact, and passes inspection.

Has been my daily driver and farm/tow vehicle.

Regularly used to pull my horse trailer.

Maintained by someone who actually knows which end of a wrench to hold.

It’s been a truck, not a decorative driveway accessory. It has hauled, towed, gone to the farm, pulled trailers and done the things an F-350 is supposed to do.

Accordingly, it is not perfect.

There’s a small tear in the driver’s seat (i have ordered a new oem leather seat bottom) and there are undoubtedly some scratches, dings and other evidence that it has spent its life being useful instead of attending Cars & Coffee.

Mechanically, I’m happy to have an intelligent conversation about the truck, what’s been done to it, what I’ve repaired, what I’ve maintained, and anything else you want to know. I’d much rather sell it to somebody who understands diesels than pretend a 275k-mile work truck has spent the last 14 years being driven gently to church by a retired schoolteacher.

It runs, drives, tows and has served me very well.

I’m asking $19,999 or best offer.

I’m realistic about what it is, but I also don’t need to sell it badly enough to entertain:

“$8,500 cash today bro”

Unless the $8,500 is accompanied by another $7,500. In which case, congratulations, you have successfully negotiated my full asking price.

Come look at it, drive it, crawl underneath it, bring your mechanic, bring your scanner. I don’t mind.
