1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 Convertible with a 350 cubic-inch (5.7L) "Rocket" V8 engine.

After driving it around for a couple of years, I was planning for it to be restored. Some of the items were purchased for the project, but unfortunately, that was as far as it got.

This is a project car ready for a full restoration, offering the opportunity to bring a rare piece of the late '60s back to its original beauty. The car's not ready for the road, so it'll need a tow or a pull to its next spot.

The 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 Convertible is quite rare. The Delmont 88 nameplate lasted for just two years (1967–1968), and 1968 was the only year the 88 convertible was offered in this specific line. Roughly only 2,800 drop-top units were made in 1968 out of total Delmont production exceeding 121,000. Presently only a few remain on the road or come up for sale, making them a true vintage find.
