I am testing the waters on selling my well maintained 2002 Honda CRV. It is the rare version with the 5 Speed Manual Transmission and All Wheel Drive. Known issues include the engine burning oil, failing paint clear coat, delaminated door panel upholstery, a worn driver's seat, and tires that ought to be replaced before winter. Recent maintenance and repairs include a new AC compressor and condenser, a new serpentine belt and tensioner, power steering system flush, recent oil change, new catalytic converter, and new upstream/ downstream O2 sensors, new knock sensors. The original engine and clutch were replaced around 185,000 mikes. The low milage replacement engine was imported from Japan with approximately 55,000 mikes, so the engine only has about 98,000 mikes. The clutch feel is still good, and the transmission shifts smoothly through all 5 gears and reverse. This vehicle is the Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. It has ample cargo space, many storage compartments, a folding picnic table, and the seats can even fold into a rudimentary bed. I will include the folding stools, a Haynes repair manual, snow chains and a used set of studded snow tires with the purchase of this vehicle.
