2006 GMC Sierra 5.3L. 221k miles. 2” lift, 33” tires, and bronze method wheels. Bose speakers and Bluetooth deck. Truck is in remarkably good shape considering it’s 20 years old. No body rust. Fires right up and runs strong and was my daily driver until about a month ago. That being said, it isn’t perfect. The brakes in particular need some attention before you would want to daily it again. It pulls to the left when braking and the brake peddle is a little squishy. It does also have a lifter tick. There was some uneven wearing on the tires so I had the upper control arms, lower control arm ball joints, and tie rods replaced. Also replaced the pitman and idler arms to tighten up the steering. Replaced the gauge cluster because the motors on some of the dials had failed. New oil pressure sensor, mass air flow sensor, and oil level sensor. Also had the oil pan gasket replaced recently. Finally, I replaced the muffler and exhaust with an aftermarket setup. Really wanted to keep her running forever but decided something more modern was better for starting a family.
