1973 Plymouth Duster 340 hardtop. The car was a factory 340. Its mostly original and has a 340 V8 with a recently rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine ran strong and sounded good before the car was parked a few years ago.

The original carburetor body was cracked, so I installed a Holley 570 CFM carburetor. The distributor has been replaced with an MSD distributor, and it also has MSD plugs and wires along with an MSD ignition box.

The transmission was recently rebuilt, and the transmission lines were replaced with aluminum lines. The gas tank and fuel lines have also been replaced. The car did not come with a factory Sure-Grip/limited-slip rear axle.

The car originally came from the Salt Lake area. It does have rust, including rusted quarter panels and some additional rust in other areas, although the other areas are not as bad. The bottom of the car has undercoating, and my mechanic inspected it and told me the floors were solid.

When the car was parked a few years ago, the remaining items my mechanic said needed attention were the shock absorbers, heater core. Other than those items, the car was considered mechanically solid.

The starter has now given out, so the car is currently not running or driving. I could buy and install a starter and battery, but I would be asking more for the car if it is running and driving. I am being up front about the condition, I do not want to waste anybodies time.

This is a mostly original 340 Duster with a recently rebuilt transmission and a completely redone fuel system. From the gas tank to the carburetor. It would make a great project for someone looking for a classic Mopar.
