I'm throwing out the idea of trading my civic (or selling for good price). I'm not in a rush to get rid of it. I'm looking for a clean 5th or 6th gen (EG/EK) civic hatchback or coupe.
I'm the second owner of this Civic. It's in very good condition for it's age. The first lady I bought it from got it from the dealership brand new with the body kit and all the bells and whistles available in 2005:
6-disc changer radio
SPC from camber bolts
SPC rear camber arms (recently replaced with new ones)
H&R lowering springs
It's also wired for subs but doesn't come with subs
I've done a few upgrades in the year and a half of owning it:
AVID1 AV06 white wheels
Newer tires (about 5-6000 miles on them)
Euro-style headlights
LED high and low beam bulbs
Spoon Sports shift knob
Aftermarket shift boot collar
OEM-style short shifter
Injen intake
HKS axle back
AP Exhaust mid pipe
Whiteline extended lower ball joints
TruHart shocks
Steering wheel cover (faux suede) (and non-permanent)
Coolant hoses
Coolant reservoir
Thermostat
Temp sensor
Spark plugs
Quirks:
Intermittently grinds in 3rd and 4th gear but still drives perfectly fine. First owner had the transmission rebuilt at 70k miles.
There's other minor quirks of course since it's a 21-year-old car but nothing that affects the driving or reliability of the car.
I'm currently in the process of replacing the head gasket, exhaust header gasket, intake header gasket, and radiator so it'll be in top shape within a week. This will include a coolant and oil change.
Once again I'm not in a rush to get rid of this car. I'm just wanting a different style of Civic. Show me what civics you have. Serious and reasonable trades and offers, please.
