2010 Honda Accord LX Sedan – $4,200 in Brand New Parts, Runs, Mechanic Special

Selling our 2010 Honda Accord LX Sedan (2.4L 4-Cylinder, 5-Speed Automatic) with 191,900 miles. Clean Utah title in hand.

We just invested over $4,200 in professional repairs and brand-new parts in August 2026 (all shop receipts from Honest-1 Auto Care on Freedom Blvd available to verify). However, we have decided to stop putting money into it and sell it as-is to a mechanic or DIYer who can finish the remaining engine/cooling work.

Over $4,200 in Brand-New Parts & Services Completed (August 2026):

• Ignition / Tune-Up: All 4 new Iridium spark plugs and 4 new ignition coils.

• Drive Belts: New serpentine belt and belt tensioner assembly.

• Drivetrain & Suspension: Brand new CV axle shaft, CV intermediate shaft, and front right wheel bearing.

• Alignment & Tires: Complete 4-wheel alignment plus 2 brand-new Toyo Extensa A/S II tires.

• Fluids & Maintenance: New thermostat/water outlet assembly, fresh coolant, and fresh synthetic 5W-20 oil change with re-threaded oil pan drain plug.

Current Mechanical Status & Remaining Work Needed:

• Engine/Drivetrain: The car starts and runs.

• Needs Work: The cooling system is currently incomplete/compromised and will likely need a complete cooling system setup and a head gasket replacement.

• Important Notice: Because the cooling system is incomplete, the car will overheat quickly and should not be driven far to prevent engine damage.

• Transport: Recommend a trailer, flatbed, or tow truck for pickup. If you live within 20 minutes, you could probably drive it yourself, in which case you should pick-up in the early morning or after sunset to prevent overheating.
