LOCATED IN IDAHO FALLS! PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME! I will not respond to 'Is this available'.
First, I am located in Idaho Falls. Second, if you are not a mechanic, or don't know one, please move on. The van runs great and drives great as is ('ve driven it to Utah a couple times and to Wyoming towing my trailer), but has rust issues that need to be addressed. Price is $7900. This is a project listing, not for someone who isn't mechanically inclined. I meant for this to be my family road trip/camper van, but I'm unable to move forward with it due to lack of time and space.
The van is my high top 2003 Dodge B1500 conversion with the 5.2L V8 engine. Runs great, drives well and the transmission shifts well. It can be driven as is, and I've driven it to Utah, and Wyoming towing my trailer and it drove great (14mpg with trailer, 18-21 without). It only has 49k miles on it. The interior is in amazing condition. BUT - it has some major rust problems. It came from the East coast (Maryland) and from my understanding the salt and humidity wreaked havoc on it. The front frame needs to be replaced as does the rear floor pan, or if you have a chassis already, you can swap everything over. This would make a great donor van if you have a conversion van restoration project. I do not have time to finish this project, nor do I have the space. If you're a mechanic this could be a great setup for you when finished. The van has new front and rear brake pads and rotors and new rear parking brakes. The interior electronics work as they should (dvd, vcr, radio, cd player). The A/C does not work, I do not know if it needs to be charged or rebuilt, I haven't looked into it. The interior leather and seats are in truly superb condition. The rear bench motors work fine and it goes up and down and forward and back just fine. The rust affects the mounting bolts for the rear bench seat, so it is currently not installed. The tires have some tread left. I have a clean carfax. I have the title in my possession, it is in my name, no liens. VIN: 2D6WB11Y73K516755. Please text/DM me if you have any questions.
