Description
THIS IS A PROJECT CAR.
For sale is a Mk1 VW Scirocco built for autocross and hillclimbs. The timing belt snapped a few months after I bought it, which led to it sitting for a few years. I was planning on making this a winter project, but I need to move and can't take it with me. At minimum it needs new pistons and a valve job to get going again.
Current setup:
2.0L ABA/16V hybrid with a T25 Garret turbo
Megasquirt 1 running on a V2.2 board.
Peloquin LSD
Koni double adjustable yellows running H&R springs.Front and rear Cabby sway bars
Front SS brake lines
Kirkey light weight racing seats4 point welded roll bar
Spare parts:Both axles
Rear disc brake conversion kit
6 Diamond Racing Wheels with worn slicks
Original door cards and door pulls
Neuspeed 23mm front sway bar
K03 turbo (needs rebuild)
Various small bits such as O2 sensors and distributor caps
This is by no means a show car. The previous owner painted it with Rustoleum paint and it has seen several years of racing. It has a lot of little quirks and tricks to get things to work. But it is a very fun car to drive, and these Sciroccos are getting hard to find.
