Utah’s passionate car community is gearing up for a landmark event that’s all about horsepower and heart. Cars for a Cause takes place at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium on June 14, 2025, bringing together car lovers from every corner of the state to support two incredible local causes: Primary Children’s Hospital and the aquarium itself.

This is more than just a car meet. It’s a powerful show of unity from every side of Utah’s car scene — from JDM enthusiasts and classic collectors to supercar fans and off-roaders. “This will be the largest collaboration between different car groups ever in Utah,” said Iyar Koren of Automotive Addiction, one of the event’s organizers.

Josh Irish of Era Auto said, “What makes Cars for a Cause so special is the way it brings the entire car community together — not for recognition or brand exposure, but for impact. It’s not about who’s involved, but why we’re involved. Seeing car enthusiasts, community leaders and businesses rally to support philanthropic causes shows the true heart of this community. It’s unity without ego, and that’s where real change happens.”

Calling all cool car owners and enthusiasts

Over 1,000 vehicles are expected to roll in, creating a diverse and unforgettable lineup of machinery. Whether it’s lifted, lowered, exotic or electric — if you have a passion for cars, this is your invitation to bring it out and be part of something big.

And the best part? It’s completely free to attend for both participants and spectators. If you want to bring your car, no registration is required. Just show up with your ride, and volunteers will guide you where to park.

Support healing and education

“If there’s one thing all car communities can agree on, it’s the power of showing up for something bigger than yourself,” said Iyar. With that in mind, this weekend’s show is proudly supporting:

  • Primary Children’s Hospital, bringing joy and healing to kids in need.

  • Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, a nonprofit that educates and inspires conservation.

How to support Cars for a Cause

You can do this by donating money in person at the event or online to either or both of the organizations. In addition, a toy drive will be held to bring extra smiles to the children at Primary Children’s. Bring a new, unwrapped toy if you’d like to contribute.

“It’s awesome to see the car community come together—not just for the love of cars, but to make a real difference,” said Raul Parra of Fast Lane Drive Utah. “When good people and great rides show up for a good cause, amazing things happen.”

Supercar Ron said, “The measure of any community is not in what we build for ourselves, but in what we give to others together.”

Unite to make a difference in Utah

“As someone deeply passionate about both the automotive world and the mission of the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, I’m honored to help bring Cars For A Cause to life,” said Jennifer Long, event specialist at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. “This event is a unique opportunity to unite Utah’s car community in support of animal care and conservation.”

And in case all that giving leaves you hungry, local food legends Curry Pizza and Houston TX Hot Chicken will be serving up some mouthwatering grub for you to purchase.

Big names, cooler cars

The event promises to be extra exciting with several local car collaborators attending. Just some of these include Supercar Ron, Cars & Coffee Utah, Automotive Addiction, 80Eighty, Ferrari of Salt Lake City, the Utah Highway Patrol, the UDOT Incident Management Team and more.

“Car shows like Cars For A Cause are helping reshape what philanthropy looks like,” said Mike Denkers of Eccles Family Foundations. “For a long time, charity was seen as something driven by a few big donors—but events like this prove that when a passionate community shows up together, the impact can be just as powerful.

“It’s not about one person giving a million. It’s about a thousand people giving what they can, showing up and activating real change. That’s the future of giving, and Utah’s car scene is helping lead that movement. As someone who comes from a family deeply rooted in philanthropy through the Eccles family foundations, I’m a huge champion for this kind of engagement. We love to see community-led impact taking shape in ways that are creative, accessible and inspiring.”
