1996 Dodge Ram 2500, diesel and 5 speed manual, 250,000 miles. I have owned this truck for over ten years now. I swapped out the automatic transmission for a manual (NV4500) when I bought it at 160,000 miles. Everything on the truck works as it should and I would bet she’s ready for another 250,000 miles. The engine and fuel pump have never been modified. The paint is bad but there is no rust. There are lots of parts that have been replaced over the years and if there is something you would like to know about specifically just send me a message. The tuck has a decent stereo and speakers, aftermarket auto dimming rear view with temp, seat heater, muffler delete pipe, rear add a leaf, flush mount in bed tool box, manual cable actuated 4 wheel drive control. I still drive this truck on 2,000 mile trips without fear of breaking down. On the highway you can expect to get 19 MPG if you can tolerate 75 MPH. I have a ton of maintenance records from the original owners as well as a repair manual that I have used. I even have the original window sticker-
Things that are less than perfect;
tires tread is getting low
bottom of the cup holder broke and was elegantly repaired with duct tape
head liner fabric is drooping in the back

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly
The Good. It’s a Honda and it runs well. It’s a really pretty luxury car. Our son has used this car for two years going back and forth from Moab to SLC for college. He’s a skier and he’s taken it up and down the canyons two/three times a week. Automatic Heat and A/C works good. Leather/heated/electric seats with memory for two drivers, Sun/Moon roof. We are the second owners, we have the clean ‘in hand’ title.
The Bad. Whining sound when it starts up sometimes but goes away when it warms up. Check engine light has been on the whole time we’ve had this car. He took it to the Acura dealer for recall work and they ran the diagnostic and wanted $1900 for repairs. Because it drives fine we chose to do nothing. The VTM4 light comes on after the car warms up and you have to shut the car off to get it to clear. Navigation system does not work the screen is blank. AM/FM/CD stereo system works fine, our son used a device to run bluetooth through an FM station.
The Ugly. There are cracks in the leather of the passenger seat. The driver's seat was reupholstered and looks good, there is a seat cover on the passenger side. Windshield has two stars and a crack between them (located on the passenger side close to the column so it doesn’t interfere with driving)
Screw off you and your certified checks, your “I have somebody who can pick it up tomorrow” BS. It’s the first $2500 cash that takes this car. That’s 25 one hundred dollar bills all at once. Thanks. Call or text 435-two6zero-zero841

This has been a great truck for us! Garage kept most of its life with us, we are the second owners. 6.0L gas engine, Leather, heated seats, Sunroof, Power rear window, Backup camera, K&N Filter, Banks Automind Programmer, Leveling Kit, Airlift airbags in rear, 20" BMF wheels, tint, spray in bedliner, Badges on the doors and bed are removed and Black front and rear emblems. We have had no issues with this vehicle. Just basic maintenance, oil has been changed every 3k miles, the transmission, transfer case, front and rear diffs had the oil changed at 60K and 80K miles. Radiator and power steering have been flushed and cleaned at 80K as well. Hate to see this truck go but we want a camper that is too big for this truck to pull. Serious inquiries only please, call, text or email is fine. Email works best during the week for the quickest response time.

Purchased in 2016 from lifetime owner who cared for it immaculately. It has taken on a bit more dust since relocating to southern Utah. It could certainly be used long distance, but would be ideal as an around town/work truck. 8' bed is great for moving large items, construction materials, etc.
I have driven it on and off over the past year. Prior to that, it was my primary vehicle.
Notable Needs:
- Minor leak in power steering hose
- Needs new battery
- Some rust
- Comes with front grill guard and 8’ shell. Shell requires replacement weatherstripping around one passenger side window.
Let me know if you have any questions.
