Great vehicle. Tires are only two years old, Car is clean and kept up well. Back up camera and side view camera. Cooler box for drinks in the front and a DVD package in the back with two blue tooth headphones for the kiddos. This has been a wonderful vehicle for us. Regular maintenance has been done on this on time with the local Honda dealer.

*I live in Eastern Oregon and have recently titled the vehicle here. But i travel to West Jordan Often to visit family.
My “bullet proofed” 05’ Ford Excursion 6.0L 4x4 186xxx miles is for sale. These are getting harder to find in good condition and even harder to find under 20K when they have the proper fixes already completed. This rig has successfully towed most of Utah and Oregon with my 36ft 13k toy hauler with no issues. Being that this is not a pickup truck, you can make some “fifth-wheel” like reverse turns with a trailer and not jack knife it, very handy in tight spaces offroad! I am downsizing my trailer and rig (already sold the trailer).
Things that are wrong:
This year while ferrying tubers up the river I scouted out a new launch point. Long story short , the dirt shoulder gave to the weight of the rig and placed me on a tree. This happened at maybe 2mph. it was very slow and the running board took all of it and didn’t even bend. I slid maybe 4ft. I mention it cause when I was recovered the tree ended up touching the driver side passenger door (pics included) and lightly on the driver side rear fender flare. From the looks of it a paint less dent repair could easily fix this, however I live in eastern Oregon and they evidently don’t exist here. Because of this I have discounted the vehicle more than the cost to repair it. If you are serious about the purchase, I will take more pictures of the dent form many more angles. With that being said, look at the pics I uploaded. Its not really bad, or at least not bad enough for me to drop off my rig over an hour away for how ever many days.
The Good:
Upgraded HID headlights (not cheap)
Original turbo has been replaced with a KC turbo Stage 1.5- great for towing! (@172k miles)
New pair of cylinder heads when I got it studded (@160k miles)
S&B cold air intake
EGT probe
SCT X4 computer/programmer (great for towing)
New upgraded ford egr cooler (I lived in a smog county in UT so I had to keep it)
EGR gets cleaned every other oil change
The blue spring kit
Updated fitting on the HPOP
Updated stands pipes
Coolant filter bypass kit (changed every 10k)
New transmission cooler lines (old one had a pin sized hole)
Im sure there is a ton more im missing, the shop that did all the motor work is called Stroker Diesel in Murray Utah. look up stroker solution kit. That is what I got from them.
I recently did the fuel filters (both of them), so they won’t be due for another 10k miles
Did oil change @186k with Rotella T6, the 6.0 does better in the cold months with it, but its good enough for year around protection. I do oil changed every 5k miles. Since I have owned it there has been zero injector issues.

The interior is in great shape (see pictures) The Eddie Bauer editions tend to hold up well. Rear DVD entertainment setup works great. I have several wireless headphones for it as well.
This 6.0 runs great and has been extremely well taken care of. I have receipts of all the work done, and when applicable only FORD parts go on. I NEVER just take off when it’s the first start of the day. I ALWAYS let it warm up above 80* engine oil before I take off. Its truly been babied. Let me know any questions you may have. No engine in the car, was a factory slant 6. Comes with a 1976 360 and automatic transmission. Small bolt drum brakes and a 7 1/4 rear. Rust is minimal compared to many cars I see. As pictured, the floor pans look excellent, front and rear window channels are good. There is the typical spot on each rocker and some in lower quarters and trunk pan. The trunk is not gone but has some rust. Under hood area has surface rust. I have the title, fender tag, door sticker is in place and a broadcast sheet. Car is mostly complete missing some small items in the interior. Passenger door is stuck shut and I am lubing it daily. Glass operates. It needs a grill and the front bumper is pretty tweaked up. You can build this car your way with no fear of straying on a highly optioned or factory 340 car. $2950.00 cash. No trades.
