Rare 1970 Camaro RS 350/auto 3spd (ROLLER) California Car / Here is your chance to own a piece of American history that was baddest Camaro of all gens with the split bumper. I’m selling this project car I spent eight years hunting for. Unfortunately, we bought and now restoring a 68 Mustang fastback and ran outta space so this project has to go for now. We are building a new shop/garage and limited on space. This car will not be sold with catchy sales words meaning you’re either looking for this car or you you’re not and keep scrolling. I bought this car as soon as saw it posted knowing I wanted a 70 Camaro restomod.
This Camaro was originally citrus green with a black vinyl top, deluxe black interior woodgrain gauges, 350 motor and a four speed transmission. The 4 speed auto transmission is original but the motor is not, I believe is a 73 high nickel cast motor. I can share stamp numbers if you need. This is a true California manufactured car and was built before the strike as a true first year second GEN Camaro. The motor and trans is currently out, everything stripped down to a roller and all the parts are boxed and bagged up. The floor pan is in one of the best shapes I’ve seen, but the trunk pan and rear pass quarter as pictured was chopped out by the prior owner for I don’t know what reason this car has no real rust issue. He threw away the seats as well and not sure why but everything else seems to be there when I bought it and boxed things up.
This car will need a lot of love and care and will need a mild or full restoration to be back on the road officially but will be a real head turner and honestly in great restorable shape.
I am so firm on price, if not sold locally will list on eBay later for higher. Need $5,500 to justify selling this rare car. Title in hand, come look anytime and talk muscle cars all day. 68 fastback not for sale lol
The Camaro is in my back yard covered ready to roll out with motor, trans, and boxes of parts ready to go.
