2012 Ford fiesta hatchback
This car runs smooth and has no engine or transmission problems. It gets around 30 MPG avg. and is a great commuter car. We’re only selling to simply upgrade. Maintenance has been regular and has only had one other owner. All four tires have less than 20,000 miles on them and have been rotated every 5K miles. It doesn’t leak any fluid fluids or have any problems other than what I listed below.
Known problems:
-The right steering arm is getting loose, I have estimates that say the fix is less than $100.
-the stereo went out, which means none of the speakers work at the moment. I found a solution to fix it, which costs around 100 bucks and is an easy plug-in play fix, I just haven’t done it. Once it’s fixed, Bluetooth the radio the displayer and everything else works normally.
-all of the windows roll up and down as they should, except the driver control for the rear passenger window only goes up not down. Using the passenger control works fine and it hasn’t been an issue for me.
-the tint on this car is odd, but you’ll get used to it
-it’s a used car mostly driven in Provo so it has a few dings in the fenders and the grille
Maintenance:
-the battery is less than two years old and in good standing.
-I replaced the front axles 10,000 miles ago and fully flushed the transmission fluid.
-I did a full clutch replacement and slave cylinder replacement one year ago
-the tires are less than a year old
-I replaced some of the control panels for the windshield wipers, also less than six months old.
This has been a good car for us, for long trips and just around town.
