2009 Volkswagen GTI – Project-Friendly, Clean, Priced Accordingly – $3,900

Selling my 2009 Volkswagen GTI. The car is in very good, clean condition cosmetically. Black exterior with professionally tinted windows and a black leather interior that has held up great.

Equipped with the DSG automanual transmission, which makes this car genuinely fun to drive. I also installed brand-new 17” Kӧnig Diverge wheels a few months ago. They look sharp and are included in the sale.

That said, full transparency matters: the car will need mechanical work. I had it inspected at Wofford’s Automotive, and the detailed report is available for serious buyers. The major items noted include fuel injector issues, timing chain stretch, among other age-related maintenance concerns typical for a high-mileage GTI. I don’t currently have the funds to address these repairs.

This makes for a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined or looking for a GTI project. The price reflects the needed work and the overall condition of the car.
