$10,000 obo gets you a Vanagon Syncro project. Transaxle and Subaru swap need to be installed still. Rebuilt Subaru 2.2 from a 97 legacy- this is the most reliable Subaru motor which is non-interface. The transaxle features a decoupler as well as a pelocan limited slip differential. Optionally I can instead include the stock transaxle with factory rear locker but this other transaxle has been re-geared and is the best option in my opinion for use in Utah. The decoupler allows you to switch from 2wd to 4wd to save your front differential and ride nicely on the freeway and arguably get better mpg. The LSD will lock up the rear any time in 2wd or 4wd so for snow or rain or sand. My ideal perfect setup- but you can choose the factory transaxle as well. You could also choose the factory 2.1 waterboxer motor which did run but a valve was sticking (I can include a new driver side head if interested). If you’re looking at this to Syncro swap a westy the Syncro donor next to it is for sale too.
