2001 Toyota Tundra Limited. Looking to sell this and one of my 4runners to consolidate vehicles. This engine runs really strong, the 4.7 liter V8 is incredibly reliable. I've done my best to maintain the mechanical things in this truck. Unfortunately its age is starting to show. The clear coat is either gone or peeling across a lot of the body. The roof has some rust. There is some rust back by the tailpipe. Below is a list of Good and bad things:
Good:
-Runs great, I change the oil approx. every 3k miles. I've been using Synthetic for a few years now.
-Timing belt done about 5 years ago/Approx. 10k miles ago (We don't drive this much)
-Front suspension redone about 20k miles ago
-Has trailer brake controller
-Frame is in good shape
-Aftermarket exhaust/headers
-AC works
-About 5 years ago, the radiator broke and mixed coolant with transmission fluid. I had a Toyota master mechanic flush the engine, replace the transmission and radiator. It has been running great ever since. I tend to use OEM parts when possible.
-I've owned this for about 15 years so I know a lot of the history. I'm happy to discuss any concerns.
Bad:
-Sunroof leaking, this should probably be addressed. May want to replace headliner due to leak.
-Rust on the roof and by tailpipe
-Tires have a lot of tread, but they are about 8 years old now so may need to be replaced soon.
-No spare tire, previous owner took it out for some reason...
-Possible parasitic draw. I've tested the current draw and it seems reasonable (approx. 50 mA), but I've walked out to a dead battery a couple of times. This could also be due to us very rarely driving it. I keep it on a battery tender now which I'll include in the sale.
-Cracked windshield
-Front marker/blinker lens fell off (I may end up fixing this if it doesn't sell soon).
-About 12 years ago I was in a small wreck. Somebody ran a red light and I T-boned them. It was fixed by a professional body shop and the title is still clean.
