2005 Honda Accord – Reliable Daily Driver – $3,725 OBO

Selling my 2005 Honda Accord. It’s been a dependable car and would make a great commuter or first vehicle for a student.

Mileage: 224,365 (will go up slightly with use)

Mechanical Condition:

• Mechanically sound engine

• Smooth, reliable drive

• No check engine light

Recent Maintenance & Upgrades:

• Brand new tires installed and alignment corrected (March 17, 2026)

• Oil changed regularly every 3,000 miles (last done March 6, 2026)

• Power steering pump replaced (Feb. 2026)

• Battery replaced (2024)

• Brakes and e-brake cable replaced (2023)

• Cruise control switch replaced (2023)

• Alternator replaced (June 2022)

• Kenwood KDC-BT755HD aftermarket stereo included since I purchased the car

• 1-inch hitch with 2-inch ball installed in 2023. Car can tow up to 1,000 lbs., perfect for small trailer loads, bike racks, and hitch cargo carriers.

Known Issues:

• Cosmetic wear: paint chipping and fading

• Battery drains if not driven daily (i.e. left off over the weekend). Keeps charge fine if driven daily. (Likely caused by rear left door not fully closing, triggering the door sensor. Should be a simple/cheap fix, just haven’t had the time to look into it)

• Slight chirping noise at idle when in Drive (at stoplights)

• Iffy electronic lock on car. Electronic unlock of all doors only works on master key fob if driver door is manually unlocked. E-unlock does not work on spare key fob.

This car has been very reliable and still has plenty of life left. Great option if you need an affordable, dependable vehicle.
